This product, as with all perfume oils we provide, is an industry standard synthetic oil used as an ingredient ONLY in finished formulations, in this case purely as a fruity middle note along with a multitude of other ingredients to make a finished designer perfume.

It is sheer folly to assume that it is wearable on its own (although you can) or as an imitation of a branded perfume. It is NOT - It is simply one ingredient used for its attributes in a finished perfume which will have used any number of other ingredients to present top, middle and base notes.

It is not a finished perfume in itself or a designer ripoff. It is simply one ingredient whose attributes you are able to use in formulating your own perfume. Fig in itself has always been used as a fruity presence and presents a middle note.

There are any number of finished perfume formulations ( google the term Green Fig perfume ) that are called Green Fig but they contain many different ingredients including this or other fig oils in their final formulations and the branded perfumes do not smell like this ingredient, it merely adds its attributes to the myriad of other ingredients used. A Green Fig fragrance, for example, from one of the UK's favourite stores which also sells high end food actually contains no fig oil at all but is a combination of several floral oils, amber and sandalwood yet calls itself Green Fig!

Green Fig Perfume Oil is specifically formulated to be suitable and perfectly safe to use in perfumes, soaps, candles, and both skin & hair care items. The designer perfume industry almost exclusively uses a variety of synthetic oils for their fragrance combinations and this is one of their staples.

There is no essential oil of fig, the fruit does not produce any so the Perfume industry has been using this sweet and enticing oil for decades to add the sweet fruitiness of, not a green fig as in the colour, but green fig as in just before ripening fruit. The scent is very fruity and sweet. It is very strong so use sparingly or it will overpower your creation.

These oils are cosmetic grade perfume oils used by the perfume industry for just such a purpose. The scents are extremely rich, complex, long lasting and true to their form.

All our Perfume Oils are produced with the latest technical equipment including mass spectroscopy, gas chromatography, simulated critical fluid extraction, and rotary vapour extraction methods.

They are used extensively in the perfume and pharmaceutical industries and are now available for you to use at home in your own creations or just simply to enjoy as they are.

Try using them in an oil burner or vapouriser to scent your home or, to test them out, dab a little of the oil on a cotton wool ball and wipe that over a light bulb in a sidelamp and then turn the lamp on. You’ll get an intensive fragrance filling your room within seconds as the light bulb heats up and you have the added bonus of getting a clean light bulb in the process!
